        Left, finished  BA at University of Minnesota.
- BA, Psychology/Philosophy, University of Minnesota, 1967.
- Drafted, 1st Lt. in Marines, 3 years.  In combat in Vietnam, infantry, long range reconnaissance, 
       1967-1969.
- Graduate school, educational psychology/psychology, U of Minnesota, 1970-76.
- Ph.D., Educational psychology/psychology, 1976.  Minor equivalent in computer science. 
- One year as Asst. Professor, Chatham College, Pittsburgh.
- Considered "too theoretical" to land a permanent academic job in psychology. 
     Thus the bullet points below -  went to the business world. 
- Asst. Vice President, Mellon Bank, Pittsburgh.  Started as programmer, ultimately a
     Systems Manager with forty technical professionals, covering various banking systems.
- Moved to Idaho.  Asst. Vice President, West One Bancorp, Boise (ultimately U. S. Bancorp),
     1987-1996.  Sr. Project Manager, responsible for multiple banking software systems.
- 1996-2011:  Asst. Vice President, Metavante Corp (ultimately FIS Global), Milwaukee (a banking software
      firm).  Application Architect, responsible for strategic direction of the lending systems. 
- Present: Retired on his mini-farm in Wisconsin
